Megamo bicycles, in each of their MTB, road, gravel, urban and children's ranges, are economically pricedand highly competitive. Products such as the Megamo Jakar 30 bike and the Megamo Jakar 20 version are highly regarded for their outstanding value for money. For the price of other competing bicycles you can buy a Megamo, usually with the build and components of a much higher level.
The company also has several economical and innovative models of Megamo electric bicycles in its current catalog. A good example of the commitment in the development of this type of products was the participation in the first World E-Bike Series, the UCI championship of electric MTB.
The success in competition was fundamental to Megamo's decision to complete its range of bicycles. Currently, their main focus for international competitions is the Buff®-Megamo Team, an MTB team specialized in marathon or XCM events. The team does not rule out, with a view to the future, participation in events in disciplines such as gravel and road races. Which is logical, if we think that Megamo gravel bikes have been widely adopted by many lovers of this discipline that is growing every day.
Megamo's catalog is quite complete, as explained here. We also have some ideal accessories for Megamo bikes, such as the Megamo Tamariu Basket, on sale in our Mammoth stores.
Megamo Mountain Bike Range
It is clear that the brand is closely linked to mountain biking or MTB. Its iconic Megamo Factory hardtail MTB model was developed, in large part, thanks to its strong commitment to this discipline in racing. All versions of this bike are equipped with a carbon frame with racing geometry and are economical, light, strong and very competitive.
Even more economically priced are the versions of the Megamo Natural model with rigid aluminum frame and multi-purpose trail geometry. One price step below is the entry-level Megamo Sport model.
Naturally, Megamo's catalog also includes MTB versions with full suspension, in this case single-pivot. The Megamo Track model, with a carbon frame, is marketed in versions with short suspension travel and is very focused on XC competitions. With longer travel and a more versatile and downhill approach we have the Megamo Track R120.
Megamo Gravel Bike Range
Gravel is a discipline that keeps growing and seems to be consolidated and here to stay. It is, in fact, the discipline in which sales are currently increasing the most. Megamo knows this and, for this reason, Megamo gravel models have great relevance within its range.
We have already commented on the impressive price-quality ratio of some of the versions for gravel terrains, from the Girona brand. The range consists of two main models, Megamo Jakar and Megamo West, with a number of finishes and assemblies for each of these models.
The Megamo Jakar is a highly competitively priced bike with an aluminum frame and carbon fork, perfect for testing or getting started in the world of gravel. Potential customers are aware of this and it has been a success in terms of sales lately. Jakar frames are rugged and ready for adventure and bikepacking. The generous tire clearance, up to 700x50, makes Jakar mounts perfect for this type of cycling trip, carrying everything you need and being able to get into tricky trails.
Above it, in terms of price, is the Megamo West model with high modulus carbon frame and fork. A lightweight and very versatile bike, ready to comfortably tackle long distances. Its geometry is not at all radical, so it has a quite versatile behavior, without being the most racing- focused gravel bike on the market.
