What is Cetelem?

What documents do I need to be able to finance a purchase?

If you are already a Cetelem customer and have a credit line with us, you just need to accept your financing by entering a PIN code sent send to your cell phone without filling out forms or sending documentation.

If you are a new Cetelem customer or do not have a credit line with us, the documents we will require are as follows:

1. Copy of both sides of your ID card or residency permit (foreign residents will also need to provide the signed, official identity document of your country or a valid passport).
2. Proof of income (last paycheck in the case of salaried employees, last income tax return if you are self-employed, or pension revaluation letter if you are a pensioner).
3. First page of the bank book or a direct debit receipt showing the IBAN code and the account holder, who must be the same person who is applying for the financing.

What is the amount I can finance?

Minimum amount to be financed ≥ 90€ and minimum monthly payment ≥ 12€. We have not established a maximum amount to finance, but we are very committed to grant a responsible credit adapted to the needs of each client.

When do I start paying my financing?

The first bill will be sent to your bank account on the 5th day of the month following the financing. If the financing is done between the 25th and 31st, the first bill will be issued on the 5th of the 2nd month after the innitial financing date.

What is the process I have to follow to finance my purchase?

The process is very simple:

1. Choose the products you want to buy on the web.
2. Once in the cart, choose the payment method "Financing with Cetelem".
3. You will then be directed to our financing process, where you will be able to complete the financing in just a few steps and 100% online:
   • If you are a Cetelem customer and you already have a credit line, you will only need to accept your financing by entering a PIN code that we will send you by SMS to your cell phone.
